Your Team for Liverpool?
Adrian

Jenkinson - Tomkins - Reid - Cresswell

Song - Noble

Downing - Amalfitano

Sakho - Carroll

Subs: Jussi. JO'B. Demel. Nolan. Poyet. Cole. Valencia

But he'll probably have Nolan in instead of Morgan.

Adrian, Nolan and any nine others, please.

There's as much chance of Allardyce winning at Anfield as the two Daves announcing " We made a big mistake. We are staying at the wonderful Boleyn, the true home of West Ham United."

Valencia on the bench again? Surely on his way to Chelsea?

You could stick a couple of claret & Blue tops on Ronaldo & Messi and we would still fall short

Resigned to the fact I`ll never get to see WHU win at Anfield in my lifetime. 0-0 PLEASE

Re: Your Team for Liverpool?
Adrian

Jenks Collins Reid Cresswell

Song Noble

Downing Nolan Amalfitano

Carroll

Is how I expect him to start today, in the belief they 'don't like it up 'em'...queue us being played off the park and 2 nil down after about 25 mins.

Sakho, Valencia, Kouyate, Cole, Tomkins, Jussi, Poyet and OBrien on the bench.

I'd like to see:

Adrian

Cresswell Tomkin's Reid Cresswell

Valencia Downing Kouyate Song Amalfitano Sakho

-

Setup in a 4-6-0 today, with the possibility of all but Song bursting from deep.

Re: Your Team for Liverpool?
We are always at our best when game is played at a high tempo so hopefully Liverpool will play that way and we can match them... bit worried about the injury concerns though!

Had thought we might play three at the back again but obviously not if Ginge and Tomkins are out.

Liverpool is on a up at the moment. Last matches they have played with a very high tempo.
We can hope them being tired and draw, or a loss.

If I could choose a lineup I would go for an attacking option with:

Adrian
Jenkinson Reid Collins Cresswell
Noble Song Kouyate
Sakho Downing Valencia

1-2

He'll set up for a 0-0 draw. As per the Chelsea match.

Re: Your Team for Liverpool?
We should turn up and just go for it. Starting Valencia, Carroll and Sakho would cause them all sorts of problems at the back. Think Sam will look to keep it tight however.

He came on for Arsenal when they were 2-0 in the 1979 Cup Final. Within five minutes Man Utd had scored 2.

Saying that we did go to Everton when he scored the winner... big loopy cross that went over Southall... lively old day that was... but overall an absolute turd of a player

True Sold, "Wally" Walford was indeed a pile of steaming poo for most of his time with us aside from that 85/86 season when he performed very well in about 25 - 30 games he played that season. I watched at close hand from the lower West stand that season It was an exception though :-) After that he could barely kick a ball.

Think Ive read somewhere that Lyall and McGiven were both ill and it was decided Bonds would capt/boss the side up in Liverpool... Six goals later...

Apparently we may have Jenkinson, Collins Tomkins AND JO'B all out injured!

52 or 53 years after Saturday? Either way, I have resigned myself to not ever seeing us win up there again before my time is up :-(

As you can tell, I am a real optimist.

Yea...and look at some of the names in that side!
We were a soft touch away from home, well known for it, even with the likes of bonds and martin!

Emlyn Hughes was a well known west ham piss taker back then

Re: Your Team for Liverpool?
The arrogant fat cunt will persist with Nolan and Noble together .... I mean the cunt see it didn't work half time v a Hull and the wind up did it at Bristol Sunday

We need some pace and power in the middle with Song, let's hope king Kayoute is back
